Corps Environmental Performance Atlas

The Corps Environmental Performance Atlas (CEPA) will be an online tool for analyzing, managing, and improving the Corps environmental performance.  Development began in September 1999.  A "mock" version was presented to a Corps advisory panel in November and the prototype will be demonstrated in September 2000.

CEPA will help Corps analysts collect and compare information on environmental issues and the Corps environmental programs.  CEPA users will select information retrieval criteria from a combination of maps and pull down menus.  This GIS like capability CEPA will initially operate on a small database on Section 1103, 1135, 204 and 206 projects, but CEPA will also contain an extensive and well organized set of links to other environmental data sources. More Corps information will be integrated into CEPA in the future.
