  The Environmental Defense Scorecard site contains data on many environmental problems and how states, regions, counties and cities compare to each other across the US. Environmental problems monitored include air pollution, land contamination, chemical release and animal waste. A map based interface allows users to zoom into areas of interest and direct links to pertinent info are there as well as statistical data

• State Environmental Indicators
   Florida State University's Center for Public Management's "State Environmental Goals and Indicators Project (SEGIP)" surveyed 50 states from July 1994 to October 1996 and found most had already developed numerical environmental indicators.

  This website describes how economists value the beneficial ways that ecosystems affect people. It is designed for non-economists and gives explanations of ecosystem valuation concepts, methods and applications.
