About the Environmental Database System

The Environmental Database System is designed to provide environmental information more easily and effectively.  It is composed of two elements, a prototype Corps Environmental Performance Atlas which uses state of the art web mapping capabilities to gather and analyze data, and an Environmental Encyclopedia which provides convenient access to more traditional web based environmental information systems.  In the next few years, some of the Encyclopedia data will be integrated into the Corps Environmental Performance Atlas.
