The following examples are teaming success situations that PMCL has accomplished.
If any of these situations appear to meet your current needs or if you
have any questions, please contact Timothy
D. Feather or submit a teaming request.
-
Water Utility Master Plan PMCL uses its water
demand management models to support a master planning effort for a water
utility. Typically, a large civil engineering firm needs justifiable
projections of future water use from which water treatment and distribution
can be designed.
-
Indefinite Delivery Contracts A government
resource agency needs an engineering firm on retainer to support water
resources planning activities through an indefinite quantity contract.
Typically, a large list of services is required. PMCL is often called
upon to fill niche services that many engineering firms don't have in
house. These typically include public involvement, economic analysis,
and social surveys.
-
Objective Reviewer PMCL is retained by an
engineering firm to objectively review work concerning water resources
planning. This review helps the engineering firm have stronger, more
justifiable backing on contentious planning parameters.
-
National Experts PMCL is often asked to review
the literature on a selected water topic to gain a perspective on the
scope of issues and recent innovations in that area. PMCL will often
retain the expertise of a qualified university professor, recognized
as a national expert on the topic, to guide the literature review.
-
Qualified Small Business A large information
technology firm owning a government contract needs small business participation
to fill contracting goals. PMCL -- a qualified small business - is contracted
by the large firm to provide selected programming and data management
support.
-
Public Survey Execution PMCL has been hired
by a water utility to survey its customers about water conservation
practices. The survey sampling, design, and analysis will be conducted
by PMCL. However, if the survey is telephonic, PMCL will retain the
services of a survey execution firm to administer the survey and turn
the results over to PMCL for analysis and reporting.
